OVERSEAS NURSES – NMC REGISTRATION WITH CBT & OSCE TEST, TIER 2 VISA (WORK PERMIT)

For Overseas Nurses from outside of the EU there is a simple 5 step process to practicing as a Nurse in the UK.
You must have the relevant nursing qualifications to practice as a nurse and have at least 1 years’ experience (unless you have completed your nursing degree in the UK)
You must pass your academic IELTS exam with a score of at least 7.0 in each area (reading, writing, listening and speaking) in order to demonstrate your English language competency. Click the following link for more information on IELTS https://www.ielts.org/
You must apply to the UK NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) submitting some basic information and take a CBT (Computer Based Test). Once passing the CBT you must submit all the required documentation (often certified and/or translated) to the NMC for review and checking. The NMC will issue you with a Decision letter once they are happy with all the documentation that you have provided.
Once you have your decision letter you can apply for the final part of NMC Registration which is the OSCE Test (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). However, this can only be taken at the University of Northampton in the UK.
The OSCE test is the trickiest part of NMC Registration and the section that most Overseas Nurses find the most difficult. In fact, more than 50% of all candidates fail on their first attempt. Caneda Express Entry

Overview

Canada Express Entry Program was launched in January 2015 by  Citizenship and Immigration Canada for skilled labor to come and join the Canadian workforce.  To understand it better, one must know that the invitations are open throughout the year.
The recent changes
According to the new system introduced by  IRCC, the whole process will now be electronic and all the PR applications will be managed online. It has been named the Canada Express Entry System. Presently, the immigration programs under IRCC are – The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), The Federal Skilled Trades Program, The Canadian Experience Class and the Provincial Nominee Program.
There is no restriction placed on the number of people who can apply through this program. Applicants with experience under the Skill Type 0 (zero): management jobs, Skill Level A: professional jobs and Skill Level B: technical jobs and skilled trades can create their profile in the pool. This will allow the Federal and Provincial governments of the country to choose the eligible applicants.
The Process
The Canadian employers and provinces will further choose from the pool, to find those candidates who can fill positions that are vacant. To be placed in the pool, an applicant must submit an Expression of Interest under any one of the programs. Following this, the highest ranking applicants will be sent an Invitation to Apply [ITA] under any of the above mentioned Canadian Economic Programs.
 Once an ITA is received, a candidate must submit a PR application that is fully completed. Such applications will take 6 months or less to be processed. The Canadian Express Entry requires an applicant to be eligible in terms of age, English language proficiency, work experience (in and outside Canada) and educational qualification.
